This is my darling Nakita. She was a goffin cockatoo and I had her for almost 25 years. She suddenly passed away a year ago and I had to do an illustration of how silly she used to be.

This is my first time in setting up a blog. A good friend of mine steered me in this direction and it sounded fun. I am sure this will be a shorter blog at first until I get used to posting and telling about my art.

I have drawn animals all my life. I love animals. They are just wonderful and have such a way about them that is a special gift to us humans. We could learn a lot from the animal kingdom.

I will post some of my art soon.
